Board the courtesy shuttle bus to Owani Onsen Station and board the train to Hirosaki. (10 mins) At Hirosaki Station, meet your taxi driver who will take you to see the Tsuru no Mai Bridge, the grand spectacle of a 300m long wooden arched bridge over Lake Tsugaru Fujimi with a clear, beautiful reflection of Mt Iwaki on the lake's surface.
Next, be taken to the Takayama Inari SHrine, where hundreds of red torii gates form a winding tunnel through the enchanting Japanese Gardens.
For dinner tonight you may like to visit one of the izakaya where local specialties are served and Tsugaru folksongs are performed.
