Today make a trip to visit the Miho Museum. From Kyoto Station board the JR Special Rapid Service (bound for Yasu) to Ishiyama Station. (15 mins) From Ishiyama Station, board the Teisan Bus from bus stop #3 to the Miho Museum. (60 mins)
The Miho Museum is open from 10:00 to 16:00 and entry costs JPY1,100 (cash only). Named after its founder, Koyama Mihoko, the museum sits amongst natural surroundings in the valleys southeast of central Kyoto. The museum displays Mihoko's private collection of Asian and Western antiques.
Buses return to Ishiyama Station on the hour between 12:00 and 15:00, with the last two services at 16:07 and 17:14.
